Work Pattern: Full Time, 37 hours/week Contract: One fixed-term or secondment opportunity until 31 March 2026. NHS secondments are preferred initially; non-NHS applicants considered for fixed-term or secondment roles. Applicants must have UK work eligibility and maintain this throughout employment. Role Overview To support NES Strategy 2023-2026 and Scottish Government digital initiatives, NTS seeks a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer for the Digital Front Door (DFD) programme . This role involves defining and leading digital service development, improving healthcare delivery, and working with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and implement scalable applications. Candidate Profile Expert in cloud native development (Azure, AWS), containers, modern JavaScript frameworks, backend languages, and databases. Proactive problem solver capable of designing, deploying, testing, and documenting complex software solutions. Strong understanding of architectural principles, security, and best practices. Excellent communicator able to simplify technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. Committed to continuous improvement and mentoring team members. Organized, able to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
