The Lagunitas Brewing Company began on a kitchen stove in Northern California in 1993 and has always looked to the future – whether supporting local communities by turning beer into money for the cause, or fueling stories, songs, and experiences with our IPA. Wherever you go: Beer Speaks, People Mumble.
The Gist The On-Site Experience Ambassador provides a fun, educational, and memorable experience to visitors and event groups, through events, tastings, storytelling, BVR’s, Dips, and tours of the facility. They serve as a liaison between Lagunitas and the community, promoting retail through networking and outreach. They also support the Taproom and On-site team as needed.
What You’ll Do
Be the face of our brand to external clients interested in our tours.
Greet and manage aspects of on-site brewery tours, including bus groups, private tours, distributor visits, and daily tours, ensuring the portrayal of the Lagunitas brand.
Manage our booking platform for tours and brewery visit requests.
Respond promptly to client requests.
Lead walking tours, sharing brewery and beer industry facts, and respond to questions.
Ensure safety measures are followed.
Greet and socialize with patrons when not conducting tours.
Support amphitheater shows and Taproom events, including signage, setup, takedown, and crowd control.
Assist in executing special events to drive traffic.
Communicate safety rules clearly to attendees.
Prepare and maintain tour locations.
Lead community networking and outreach for tours and retail.
Support private events and day-of execution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Lookin’ For
Prior experience as a Tour Guide preferred.
Passion for Lagunitas and craft beer.
Outgoing personality with high energy and strong communication skills.
Integrity and mature judgment.
Ability to solve problems and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Team player with collaborative spirit.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Proficiency in public speaking.
Responsible Beverage Server and Food Service Certifications required.
Physical Requirements
Moderate physical effort: lifting up to 30 pounds, standing and walking for long periods.
Ability to use a computer and calculator.
Work environment includes indoor restaurant and production areas, with noise and temperature variations.
