Come grow with us! Lemieux & Associates, a national leader in the investigative industry, is seeking an Office Specialist in our corporate office in North Haven, CT. This is a part-time position for the right individual who will work 8 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Job Classification: Non-Exempt
General Summary
Reporting to the Senior Medical Canvass and Record Retrieval Manager, the Administrative Assistant position is an integral role tasked with performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Office Specialist include processing mail, scanning documents, making copies of CD's and DVD's, communicating with medical facilities and other miscellaneous tasks. The Office Specialist must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a significant amount of independence. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using company tools, office equipment and operating systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voicemail systems and personal computers
- Answer telephone calls, direct calls and take messages
- Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
- Compile, copy, sort and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities
- Collect, sort, distribute or prepare mail, messages or courier deliveries
- Scan documents
- Upload and make copies of CDs and DVD's
- Contacting medical facilities for updates
- Complete other duties as assigned

- Adaptability, attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods and operate a computer for long periods. The employee communicates on a regular basis with supervisors, clients and staff via telephone, video conference and email.
