We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep, repair, and performance of our portable restroom service fleet at our Billerica & Rehoboth, MA locations.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment is operating at peak efficiency and up to industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing maintenance teams, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and overseeing preventative maintenance programs for a fleet of vehicles and luxury restroom trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage daily maintenance operations, reporting to the General Manager.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high productivity and quality standards are met.
Preventative Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained regularly to minimize downtime.
Inventory and Parts Management: Ensure that necessary parts and supplies are available for repairs and maintenance, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with restrooms and fleet vehicles, and ensure timely repairs are completed.
Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working conditions and meets company standards.
Vendor Relations: Work closely with third-party vendors for any specialized repairs or parts procurement.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance operations comply with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in managing the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while controlling costs.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in a related industry.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, welding, and plumbing skills. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, including service trucks, delivery trucks, and tankers.
Leadership: Proven experience leading and developing a maintenance team, with a focus on productivity, safety, and quality.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with different departments and ensure that all maintenance needs are addressed promptly. Willing to go the extra mile to facilitate respectful communication with our ESL employees.
Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is a plus.
