Responsibilities The Senior Compensation Specialist plays a key role in designing and administering compensation programs for all organizational levels—from frontline employees to executives. This role ensures pay practices align with business strategy to support talent attraction, retention, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Success requires strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of compensation practices, market dynamics, and compliance, especially within a public company environment. This is a salaried exempt position reporting to the HR Manager – Analytics, Systems & Rewards, and working closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer on Executive Compensation matters. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to provide compensation guidance, market data analysis, and modeling. Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for company leadership, including analyses for the Compensation Committee of the Board related to Executive Compensation, long-term incentives, etc. Supporting SEC reporting and compliance filings. Leading administration of the company’s equity incentive plan. Participating in and analyzing compensation market surveys at all levels; providing benchmarking and internal equity recommendations. Leading the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonus programs, and long-term incentives. Performing job evaluations by partnering with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to determine appropriate classifications and pay grades. Supporting other compensation projects, such as pay equity reviews, incentive plan design, or due diligence. Developing and delivering communication strategies to enhance employee awareness and engagement with compensation programs. Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations while reflecting best practices in total rewards. Qualifications Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards; experience in a public company preferred. Expertise in executive pay structures, equity incentives, and public disclosure requirements. Ability to develop and deliver data-driven presentations to stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. Discretion in managing confidential information. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (macros, formulas, dashboards).
