SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER
AS NEEDED BASIS
DAYS WORKED: On - Call
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED highly preferred.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must pass a Washington State Patrol and FBI background check.
- Valid bus driver's license WITH CDL with passenger endorsement and meet all the qualifications for acquiring an OSPI Type 1 School Bus Driver's Authorization as required in WAC 392-144 (copy available upon request).
- Valid First Aid Card.
- Satisfactory completion of the "Physical Examination of Commercial Drivers" (DLE-520-061).
- Knowledge and practice of safe driving practices.
- Knowledge and practice of effective student management skills.
- Good driving record.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and days when needed - as in schedule changes for schools.
- Must have working home/cell phone.
