As An IOP/PHP Therapist You Will
Facilitate daily groups (seeking safety, psycho education, CBT, DBT…) Weekly 1:1 therapy using an evidence-based treatment (CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing, EMDR…) Provide family therapy as needed Be responsible for assessments, safety planning, weekly treatment goals, discharge/ after care planning Maintain documentation of group and individual therapy services provided to each patient according to program standards Maintain a caseload of 7 patients Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patients Conduct crisis intervention with the support of the multidisciplinary team Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards patients
THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME AND 40 HOURS PER WEEK: Day Shift
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required. One or more years’ experience working with comparable population required.
Licenses/Designations/Certifications
AMFT, LMFT, APCC, LPCC, ACSW, or LCSW or similar licensure required. Supervision is provided for Associate Level employees. Associate Social Worker (ASW) registered with CA BBS or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
