is actively recruiting a
Clinical Night Pharmacist
to serve as an overnight decentralized clinical pharmacist covering the emergency department and intensive care units, plus main pharmacy coverage (7 on / 7 off). The Clinical Night Pharmacist focuses on prioritizing and organizing the workload of pharmacy technical personnel on the night shift, providing leadership, clinical, educational, informational, and distribution functions. Assure the appropriateness of medication orders including age-specific and organ-specific factors, allergy checking, duplicate checking, and drug interaction checking before preparation or distribution. Ensure the accuracy of records related to controlled substances, medication compounding, prepackaging, and sterile product preparation. Collect and organize all patient-specific information (medication work-up), including prevention, detection, and resolution of medication-related problems. Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association One year of hospital experience and PGY1 residency preferred Join Our Team Today!
