We are looking for a visionary and seasoned
Lead User Interface Architect
to take charge of designing and implementing cutting-edge, user-centric UI frameworks and architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our front-end systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and tailored for business growth. You will work with advanced technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment. This position is based in
Palo Alto, California , with in-office collaboration required at least
one day per week . Responsibilities: Define and drive the architectural vision for front-end systems, emphasizing scalability, maintainability, and performance. Lead the execution of technical initiatives that align with our architectural objectives. Balance immediate needs with long-term strategic goals to deliver exceptional customer value. Guide the development of reusable UI components and frameworks utilizing
ReactJS and TypeScript . Work collaboratively with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure cohesive integration between front-end and backend systems. Assess and recommend tools, libraries, and frameworks that enhance the front-end development process and support our growth ambitions. Oversee and review the team's efforts to ensure alignment with our architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Conduct technical reviews, mentor team members, and lead them in implementing sophisticated front-end solutions. Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve architectural frameworks. Keep abreast of new front-end development trends and technologies, applying them to tackle complex challenges. Promote and implement strategies to enhance accessibility, usability, and overall user experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field . 10+ years of software development experience focused on
front-end development and UI architecture . Extensive expertise in
ReactJS, TypeScript, and contemporary front-end development techniques . Proven track record in designing and implementing
scalable UI frameworks and reusable components . Understanding of backend technologies like
Postgres and AWS
(Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) is beneficial. Strong experience in
performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design . Ability to lead technical discussions, make key architectural decisions, and align engineering projects with business objectives. Outstanding
communication and collaboration skills
to influence stakeholders across various teams. Experience in
serverless architectures and fast-paced engineering projects
is a plus.
