Job Summary This Bench position will provide management support to SSC accounts in K-12 or higher education settings. Travel is required and can be significant, including overnights. Unit Director , you will oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and security of buildings. You will coordinate janitorial staff, supervise, develop, and ensure customer satisfaction through high standards, while maintaining a safe environment. You will assign duties, inspect work, investigate complaints, maintain equipment, manage supplies, train and discipline staff, and communicate directives effectively. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate between shifts for task completion. Train staff in janitorial methods and equipment. Distribute supplies and equipment. Inspect daily work and ensure completion. Cross-train staff for multiple roles. Conduct weekly reports and inspections. Hold staff meetings for review and planning. Secure buildings post-work. Manage projects within budget and timeline. Report budget issues. Preferred Qualifications: College degree preferred. 1-2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping or service fields with high customer contact. Strong work ethic, initiative, and customer service skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate staff. Understanding of budgeting and profit/loss concepts. Organizational and time management skills. Experience with heavy cleaning equipment. Valid drivers license for safe vehicle operation. Apply to SSC today!
