Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 80% FTE, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.  We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant : Educate patients and their families in order to promote wellness, improve and maintain current health as well as intervene in acute and chronic Maternal Fetal Medicine issues. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, genetic counselors, clinical nurse specialists and advanced practice providers to provide care to both well and ill patients.  Perform history and physical exams, order appropriate diagnostic tests, develop pre and post treatment/operative plans of care, intervene in acute episodes, write medication and nursing care orders, discharge patients and perform minor procedures.  Education: If Nurse Practitioner:  Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner*: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Women’s Care, Adult, Adult/Gerontology Acute or Primary Care, Gerontology, or Family.
