Job Title: Java/API Engineer
Duration: Contract through EOY, potential to move to other projects after
Location: Hybrid to Minneapolis, Dallas, or Atlanta (in order of preference) if they absolutely cant find anyone local they would consider remote as a last resort
IV: 1.5 hour interview - will involved a coding exercise and culture/personality questions
Project:
This team supports digital banking (online web and mobile banking applications - consumer facing) for business and consumers. Primarily works on credit card servicing All of the work will be related to modernization efforts that were paused due to the Union Bank merger - need to have all work complete by EOY, Q1 at the latest Modernizing from .NET and legacy Java to a modern Java & GraphQL base Day to Day:
Hands on development in support of the modernization Participate in all Scrum ceremonies Building pipelines & deploying code to the new environments Must Haves:
Senior level - looking for 4-5 years of relevant experience
Should have experience working on a customer-facing digital platform - does not need to be banking related, could be retail, etc.
Java, Spring Boot Jenkins, Kubernetes - should be able to build pipelines and deploy code Soft skills - need to have good communication, exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment Nice to Have:
Cloud - open to Azure, AWS, or GCP
