We are in search of a skilled Azure VDI Administrator to join our IT team on-site in Washington, D.C. The candidate will be essential in managing and maintaining our virtual desktop infrastructure on Azure. The role requires building machine templates, provisioning servers, deploying updates, and addressing user support tickets while ensuring high-quality customer service in a secure, classified environment. Key Responsibilities: Template Management : Design, build, and maintain standardized virtual machine templates for quick deployment and consistency across the environment. Server Provisioning : Provision and manage Azure virtual servers, ensuring they meet the required specifications for various user groups and applications. Deployment and Updates : Schedule and deploy updates to virtual desktops, applications, and infrastructure components while minimizing downtime and disruption to users. User Support : Respond to and resolve user tickets in a timely manner, providing technical support for the VDI environment, including connectivity, performance, and usability issues. Customer Service : Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with end-users, understanding their needs, and ensuring a positive user experience. Security Compliance : Ensure that all VDI deployments comply with the strict security protocols required in a classified environment. Documentation : Develop and maintain thorough documentation on systems configurations, processes, and procedures, including change management records. Collaboration : Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless service and quick resolution of complex issues. Monitoring : Actively monitor the health and performance of the VDI environment, proactively addressing potential issues before they impact users. Continuous Improvement : Evaluate and recommend improvements to the VDI infrastructure to enhance performance, reliability, and functionality. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a VDI administration role, preferably in an Azure environment. Deep understanding of Azure services related to VDI, such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Application Gateway, and Azure Active Directory. Strong experience in the management and provisioning of virtual servers. Proven ability to provide excellent customer support and service. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Knowledge of IT security best practices, particularly in classified environments. Must be able to obtain a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Prior experience working in a classified or highly secure IT environment. Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes. Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation tools. Additional Requirements: Must be a US citizen, willing and able to work on-site in Vienna, VA. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Commitment to following stringent security protocols. Well-organized, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks. Note:

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
