Quality Assurance Consultant V
Location: Northeast Region (Onsite) Employment Type:
Contract
Compensation Pay Range:$45.27-$64.67/Hrs
Description •Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements •Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in the given sprint •Automate test cases in user-interface and database environments •Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record results •Collaborate with development teams for defect triaging •Apply quality principles throughout the product lifecycle •Ensure standards and processes are implemented within a project
Key Responsibilities •Develop and use test data for test case execution •Test new and existing features, debug code, and report errors •Execute all levels of testing including functional, integration, and regression •Design, develop, and execute automation scripts •Detect and track software defects and provide timely solutions •Document and troubleshoot errors •Work in an Agile environment with large, distributed teams
Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field •Minimum of 6 years of experience, with 4 years in software testing •Experience in automation testing for user-interface and database •Proven experience using SQL, database, and ETL technologies •Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries •Working knowledge of test management software •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
