The Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO) is a key member of the Conway Medical Center (CMC) executive leadership team. This role ensures the delivery of financial services and management that support CMC in achieving its operational and strategic goals in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The VP/CFO oversees fiscal management operations, including financial planning, budgeting, analysis, controllership, and revenue cycle functions. Responsibilities include developing and communicating hospital policies related to finance, accounting, and internal controls, supporting finance initiatives, and ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines. The VP/CFO will facilitate strategic planning, resource allocation, and analyze opportunities for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and alliances aligned with organizational strategy. The role involves evaluating economic, social, and governmental influences on financial performance and managing the organization’s investment portfolio to maximize returns while minimizing risks. Additional duties include supporting finance initiatives, conducting staff meetings to ensure compliance, and overseeing comprehensive budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and audits. The VP/CFO reports to the Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer and manages financial departments including accounting, reimbursement, patient financial services, and payroll. The role also involves maintaining effective systems for government reporting, third-party rate reviews, and managed care contracting. Willingness to coordinate alternate housing during inclement weather to ensure leadership availability is required. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: At least 10 years in general accounting principles required. Minimum 10 years hospital financial leadership experience required. Prior CFO experience required. Licensure/Certification: CPA preferred. Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop strategies to enhance organizational performance. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer, and PowerPoint.
