111 Job Description: Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services, including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to buyside and sellside M&A, debt and equity capital raising, categorized by industry/sector. Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media and telecom. Senior investment banking professionals are expected to generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt, and equity capital raising transactions ranging from $7 million to $30 million, depending on sector attributes. They are also expected to "sell the bank" by promoting treasury and payment solutions, floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance, and other services. Additionally, they serve the bank's corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and traditional investment banking services, in collaboration with primary Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior banking professionals, product specialists, clients, and other stakeholders to drive business growth. Lead support work, business development, and/or product/client relationship management. Assist in generating ideas and strategies for new business opportunities, including prospecting. Lead processes to convert ideas into sales pitches, including due diligence and client pitch preparation. Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including team organization, engagement with stakeholders, product and advisory sales, and resolution of complex client issues. Supervise junior staff (Analysts, Interns, Associates) by assigning and overseeing their daily tasks. Handle complex financial modeling, pitch-book development, client relationships, and deal team logistics. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience Deep knowledge of investment banking, market, industry sectors, and financial products Advanced skills in financial analysis, sales, presentation, client management, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: MBA degree with a focus on Finance Over 10 years of relevant experience 2-4 years of management experience - The annual base salary for this position in New York is $275,000.
