As the Vice President of Operational Sales at First Onsite, every day brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, people leadership, and client engagement. Your role sits at the critical intersection of sales, operations, and customer success-directly impacting revenue growth and the overall client experience.
Your mornings often begin with reviewing sales performance dashboards, ensuring your team of Project Directors and Estimators are aligned with margin targets and sales goals. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners-from branch leaders to executive team members-discussing operational efficiencies, change initiatives, and innovative ways to improve our response and service delivery.
Throughout the day, you'll lead client conversations, join internal strategy sessions, and evaluate opportunities in Salesforce. You might be deep into negotiations on a major project, coaching a team member through a complex estimate, or contributing to our talent strategy by identifying and developing high-potential team members.
In addition to mentoring your direct reports, you'll oversee recruitment for key sales roles, identify performance trends, and ensure we're not only hitting numbers-but doing it the right way. Your leadership ensures each client feels valued, every deal is well-structured, and every teammate grows under your guidance.
Some days will require travel-visiting clients, attending trade shows, or working on-site with teams across the region. Other days, you'll be in strategic planning mode: building scalable systems, improving area-wide event procedures, and positioning First Onsite as the industry leader in property restoration and emergency response.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead project directors (PS) and estimators Identify and close sales opportunities Provide parameters for PDs and estimators for profit margins Develop a book of business capable of exceeding sales goals Maintain personal client SOP information in Salesforce (SFDC) Participate in the company's overall talent-acquisition strategy, ensuring that the company hires best-in-class talent Provide support and backup in negotiating job losses with customers and insurance carriers Participate in the development of client relations as well as adjuster and consultant relationships to develop sales opportunities Participate in trade shows specific to developing new relationship for sales opportunities
Experience & Education
A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, sales management, or business development Strong business-development experience, skills, and ideas High-level business acumen in field services, construction, property restoration, or similar fields
