Investment Banking Vice President We are partnered with an elite boutique business advisory firm renowned for its strategic insights and exceptional client service. They specialize in providing top-tier M&A advisory services across a diverse range of industries. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of successful transactions, they are seeking a highly experienced and driven Investment Banking Vice President to support their Industrial M&A Managing Directors. Position Overview:
As an Investment Banking Vice President, you will play a critical role in supporting the firm's Industrial M&A Managing Directors. You will be responsible for leading and executing M&A transactions, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts. This role requires a seasoned professional with significant industrial M&A experience and a proven track record in the investment banking sector. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with Industrial M&A Managing Directors to execute all deliverables necessary to consummate transactions for middle-market clients, primarily on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Provide execution support for sell-side mergers and acquisitions, as well as occasional buy-side mandates, private placements, and other financial advisory services for clients. Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models, company marketing documents, and client presentations. Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation. Create and present internal and external client deliverables. Support the creation of client marketing materials (Teasers, Confidential Information Presentations, Management Presentations, etc.) to be distributed to prospective investors. Aid with the management of, and compliance with, all administrative standard operating procedures associated with a transaction. Provide professional development coaching to junior team members. Share and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required. Contribute to business development efforts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Support talent acquisition and firm development efforts. Contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program. Located or willing to relocate to Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, or Philadelphia. Invested in a team-based culture that involves in-office four days per week and willing to work at client sites as needed. Seven plus years of direct investment banking experience from a reputable platform. Significant industrial M&A experience. Strong financial modeling skills and an excellent grasp of corporate finance and valuation methodologies including DCF, LBO, merger modeling, trading, and transaction comparables. Series 79 and 63 licensing preferred or the ability to obtain within 120 days of employment. Ability to successfully work in a small, collaborative team environment. High degree of maturity with a proven ability to interact with senior executives, private equity firms, lenders, lawyers, middle managers, and line workers. Effectively communicates analysis through Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint including high-quality messaging, structure, and formatting. Eagerness to be responsive at all times. Proven track record of success in high-pressure, time-constrained environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong e-mail etiquette.
