Overview
To drive training, mentoring, and guidance within the team for all aspects of reinsurance service processing.
Collaborates with Legal and Compliance Departments to identify, assess, and address complex risks, reporting back to facilitate mitigation.
To counsel on inputs for evolving the operational model, promoting process improvement ideas and solutions leveraging technology.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our global claims consulting practice.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on complex claims issues, reinsurance structures, and risk management strategies.
Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of claims data, trends, and exposures to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers underwriters, actuaries, and legal counsel, to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of services to clients.
Industry Advocacy: Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and regulatory changes impacting claims management and reinsurance, and represent the company in industry forums and events.
Client Relationship Management: Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field.
~ Experience in leading timely management of tasks to ensure adherence to Client measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
~ Strong ability to understand, interpret and present complex technical information to Senior Management and company Leadership.
~15+ years of experience in claims management within the insurance or reinsurance industry, with a focus on complex commercial lines and global operations.
~ Proven track record of leadership and success in managing claims and delivering high-quality client service.
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
~ Ability to drive relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets through effective communication and delivery of technical consulting services.
Experience in managing team and department meetings to share knowledge and solutions, enhancing service quality.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
