We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our robust HR team. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the HR field, with strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach. The coordinator will provide administrative support across various HR functions within the hotel. Ideal candidates will possess: At least one year of experience in a Human Resources department, including as an Administrative Assistant. Knowledge of FMLA, HFLA, TDI, Leaves, etc. (a plus). Experience with Labor Relations (an asset). Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Hospitality or hotel operations experience (a plus). Shift Time:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Hourly Wage:
$24.00 - $26.00. Relocation reimbursement is not offered for this role. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Labor Relations tasks, including scheduling grievance meetings, preparing files, collecting evidence, conducting research, composing letters, and maintaining records in HR systems. Respond to Unemployment Insurance inquiries. Manage team member leave requests (FMLA, HFLA, TDI, Personal Leaves), track leaves, send correspondence, and monitor return-to-work dates. Administer benefits programs such as health & welfare and 401(k). Assist team members via phone or in person, providing accurate information. Provide administrative support: maintaining records, data entry, filing, and document preparation. Plan and execute recognition programs, celebrations, and community initiatives. Coordinate training sessions, create materials, and track participation and feedback. Ensure completion of Hilton and HHV compliance training; assist with communication postings. Support other HR and employee relations duties. Complete onboarding and employment documentation tasks, including scheduling, collecting documents, and data entry. What We Seek:
