IT Business Analyst - ASRC Talent Solutions JOB SUMMARY The IT Business Analyst (ITBA) has an overall responsibility of enhancing the quality of IT products and services for the organization's business lines. This role will utilize functional business requirement and technical business requirement scoring to assist with solution selections. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Enhances the quality of IT products and services.
Analyzes data to inform business decisions.
Finds technological solutions to business needs.
Works with business lines to document and score functional and technical business requirements.
Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 5+ years of work experience as a business analyst
Demonstrated experience leading/facilitating workshops
Ability to communicate, influence and build networks with technical/non-technical stakeholders
IIBA Level 1 (CCBA) accredited
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
IIBA Level 2 (CBAP) accredited
Project management experience, and accreditation
Broad understanding and appreciation of the IT technology deployed within enterprise and field applications
Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you.All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift.Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp.Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc.Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
Meet the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam
Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company's continued operational needs once training is completed.
