is seeking an experienced
Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager
to develop business relationships, sales, and project delivery for municipal water and wastewater clients in the Puget Sound Market. This leadership role aims to grow our Water/Wastewater Practice in Puget Sound, requiring expertise in municipal engineering projects such as: Water and wastewater system planning, potable water supply, conveyance, and storage design Sanitary conveyance (gravity and pumped systems) and treatment design Hydraulic modeling analysis and design Infrastructure feasibility studies and master plans Engineering and construction plans, specifications, and estimates Coordination with regulatory agencies for permitting Specific expertise areas may include potable, raw, and recycled water delivery, groundwater supply systems, conveyance system design, water quality analysis, sewer system management, collection system design, and operational controls including SCADA. The role involves Business Development and Operational Management, primarily based out of DEA's
Bellevue
office, reporting to the Water/Wastewater Practice Leader and coordinating with the WEBU Puget Sound Market Leader and other units. Business Development responsibilities include:
Managing client relationships and overall experience in the Water/Wastewater market Developing new business, leading client teams, and cross-unit selling Building and maintaining client relationships Monitoring project manager performance and conducting client surveys Coaching project managers on client expectations Engaging in project recovery and collections Identifying and pursuing project opportunities Making go/no-go decisions and staffing pursuits Managing client profitability and revenue forecasting Basic Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis on environmental engineering or related fields Registered Professional Engineer in Washington Strong communication skills 15+ years of water/wastewater engineering project delivery experience 5+ years in a business development role in Puget Sound Preferred Qualifications:
20+ years of experience Experience with local agencies and regulatory bodies Water and sewer master planning experience Knowledge of Washington water/wastewater codes and regulations Proficiency in Civil3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and Excel Benefits include:
