Notice: This position reports to the Corporate Office in Commerce, CA. This position does NOT work remotely.
Position Purpose:
JWCH, Wesley Health Centers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Data Analyst to join our Finance team at our Corporate Office in Commerce, CA. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in financial data analysis, system support, and cross-departmental collaboration. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will manage financial data, create insightful reports, and support system implementations across the Finance, Purchasing, and Facilities departments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems and contribute to process improvements within a mission-driven organization.
Principal Responsibilities: Collect, organize, and validate financial and operational data from various sources to support financial reporting and analysis. Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities through data preparation and variance analysis. Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems, including ERP, procurement, and reporting platforms. Assist in configuring user roles and access permissions within the Microix purchasing system, ensuring proper internal controls and compliance. Help document, enhance, and maintain purchasing workflows (requisitions, approvals, and purchase orders) to improve efficiency and compliance. Provide onboarding and training support to staff on the use of the Microix purchasing system, in coordination with the Purchasing Department. Collaborate with the Facilities Department to implement new facilities management software, including system setup, user support, and documentation. Troubleshoot system issues in both purchasing and facilities platforms, working with IT teams or external vendors to ensure timely resolution. Maintain clear, organized documentation of reporting procedures, purchasing workflows, and software usage to support audits, training, and knowledge sharing. Contribute to the automation of finance tasks and reporting processes using available tools and best practices. Assist the Director of Finance with the rollout of new policies, process improvements, and system upgrades across departments. Perform other related duties as assigned to support Finance and organizational goals. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, finance, or system support (internship experience welcomed). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation; experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills across various teams and departments. Willingness to learn and support enterprise systems such as ERP, purchasing, and facilities software. Familiarity with Microix or facilities management software is an advantage, but not required.
