Superintendent of Palmerton Area School District - Visionary Leader The School District Board of Directors is searching for an innovative and visionary educational leader to be our Superintendent of Schools. Our Superintendent will play a critical role in shaping the future of our district, maintaining a high standard of ethics, and fostering positive relationships with district stakeholders including the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include development of forward-thinking educational programs aligned with our district's mission, efficient utilization of district facilities, property, and funds to ensure optimal resource management, promotion of a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, implementation of strategies to boost community involvement, and regular school visits to evaluate and enhance school climate and student learning. Minimum starting salary is $135,000.
Qualifications Superintendent Letter of Eligibility or Commission Qualification Letter as recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Possess at least five years of leadership experience as an administrator/organizational leader including an understanding of public education. Experience in the role of Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent preferred.
