Base pay range $30.00/yr - $32.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Sira Consulting, an Inc 5000 company Job Title: Windows Migration Specialist (Windows 10 to Windows 11) Duration: 12+ Months (Contract) Responsibilities: Serve as the primary coordinator for the Windows 11 migration project, managing timelines, tracking progress, identifying issues, and mitigating risks to ensure a seamless rollout. Collaborate with IT teams, external partners, and business stakeholders to align technical execution with project goals. Upgrade trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with minimal disruption to operations. Provide responsive, first-line support on the trading floor , addressing issues and user concerns during the migration. Troubleshoot and support Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other financial market data platforms. Partner with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless functionality of trading applications post-migration. Qualifications: Experience in a similar migration or desktop engineering role, preferably within the financial services sector . Trade floor support experience is a strong plus . Deep understanding of Windows 10/11 environments and support best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Teams. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure such as Active Directory, printing systems, and networking. Troubleshooting experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Office 365 applications. Familiarity with Intune , Microsoft Autopilot , On-Prem AD , and Azure AD . Skilled in using SCCM , MDT , and other endpoint management tools. Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and implementation. Proficient with PowerShell and command-line scripting for automation and support tasks. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
