The Business Process Analyst, HRIS will have in-depth knowledge of Workday, its functional areas, and capabilities. This role is responsible for collaborating with HR and IT to maintain workflows and approvals in the HRIS system, implementing process improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing/reporting HRIS data. The role is vital for optimizing global HR processes, ensuring system smoothness, and enhancing user experience.
Responsibilities
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Function as a Workday SME, partnering with internal teams to maximize system/module capabilities.
- Lead HRIS projects with Workday, IT, and implementation partners, including migrations, module expansions, and integrations.
- Oversee development, testing, and deployment of new projects, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Translate business needs into Workday solutions, maintaining transparency about limitations and downstream impacts.
- Collaborate with HRIS System Admin/HR Tech teams on configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement process improvements proactively.
- Serve as the primary contact for resolving complex issues across Workday modules.
- Support business objectives with data insights and reporting.
- Ensure integrations function properly and resolve related issues.
- Provide end-user support, training, and documentation.
- Assist with daily operations, user management, and data changes in Workday.
- Participate in testing and managing Workday releases, educating users on new features.
- Engage with the Workday Community for issue resolution and innovation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of security and advanced reporting features.
MUST-HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3+ years as an HRIS or Information Systems Analyst.
- Minimum 3+ years supporting Workday, preferably global.
- Experience in enterprise configuration management.
- Strong analytical skills, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
- Experience with at least two Workday functional areas (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Payroll).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Workday certifications preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
