JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview $20/hour Per Mar Security is looking forqualified candidates for gate Security Officers in a home improvementstore setting. The best candidates will be comfortable workingindependently. You are detail oriented and will have basic technologyskills including the ability to operate a tablet. Security Officersserve as a safeguard to the client's premises and a customer servicerepresentative, providing escort for vendors and visitors, conductingfoot patrols, restricting access as required, and providing generalsecurity for the facility. This position is unarmed and not authorizedto carry any weapons, ammunition or other protective gear and this role, you will: Stand guard at the gatehouse, directingvisitors, and providing detailed instructions to customers as necessary.Log visitor data on Menards tablet Conduct foot patrols in accordancewith post orders. Look for and report potential safety hazards. Wear andmaintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as outlined forthe position and follow all PPE policies and procedures. Follow allclient site-specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders.Work additional hours when necessary - fill open shifts, as needed.Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct andcompliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally inthe performance of their jobs at all times as well as be in compliancewith company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function.Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per MarSecurity Services attendance expectations. Maintain a positive workatmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Servicesinternal/external customers (including, but not limited to: currentcustomers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers,supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardlessof race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability,veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes. Whatyou'll need: High School Diploma or GED.
