Job Description
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to support our logistics and inventory operations in our New Orleans facility. This position is essential to maintaining a smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct routine stock checks.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and maintaining shipping/receiving logs.
- Report damages, shortages, and discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Willingness to work in a physically active environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
