We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Technical Sales Team Lead to play a pivotal role in driving same-day service operations, revenue generation, and cross-department coordination. You will support the respective divisions with internal sales and diagnosis technician leads to help eliminate truck rolls.
This candidate will direct calls to the appropriate department coordinator for same day service appointment (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical). You will also handle driving revenue through all departments, quoting estimates, and directly engaging customers to secure sales on the spot.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Coordination:
- Manage and triage incoming service calls to ensure customers are directed to the appropriate department coordinator for same-day service appointments.
- Monitor and maintain a rapid response process to minimize customer wait time and increase service efficiency.
- Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue across all departments (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Provide on-the-spot estimates and close sales directly with customers via phone or in person.
- Customer Engagement:
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for technical inquiries and service recommendations.
- Build strong rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Team Leadership & Support:
- Support department coordinators and technicians by relaying accurate service information and customer expectations.
- Assist in the training and development of junior team members in customer service and sales techniques.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of all service calls, estimates, and customer interactions using CRM or service software.
- Track revenue performance and report weekly results to management.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role, preferably HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or home services industry.
- Proven ability to sell and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Technically proficient and capable of understanding service operations across multiple departments.
- Comfortable working with CRM and scheduling systems.
- Knowledge of Service titian software is preferred
Environment
- Office environment with occasional interruptions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Evening and/or early morning, and/or weekend hours periodically

- May require physical effort and cardiac endurance while reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, balancing, bending, leaning, kneeling, walking, and climbing
