Logistics - Customer Service Representative
Join our client's team through LSI Staffing and make a difference!
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Wage: $21/hour
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics? LSI Staffing is seeking a dedicated Logistics Customer Service Representative to join our client's growing team in Blue Springs, MO. This isn't your typical CSR role; you'll be the heart of shipping operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
What you'll do:
- Master client's inventory software
- Field incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate truck driver check-ins and check-outs
- Assign docks to internal forklift drivers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus)
- At least 3 years of verifiable warehouse / logistics customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual skills are a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving operations in partnership with the warehouse team
- Process billing and invoicing with accuracy and speed
- Resolve issues related to billing, invoicing, shipping, and receiving
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members
- Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and customers
- Adhere to company safety standards and regulations
