Position Details Location: Boston, MA 02210 Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract Pay Rate: $35/hr for CMA, Phlebotomists, Paramedics Schedule: 5/20 & 5/21 (7am-5:30pm) Job Description VitalCheck Wellness seeks a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to assist patients with referral appointments and specimen collections for employees at private businesses in Boston, MA 02210 . The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and can create a supportive environment. We will consider LPNs, RNs, Phlebotomists, CNAs, MAs, or Paramedics with phlebotomy experience (Phlebotomy certification preferred). Responsibilities Perform and collect specimens accurately (phlebotomy) Record patient information, including insurance details, using electronic health records Discuss health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients Educate patients on follow-up care steps Assist with billing, coding, and obtaining pre-authorization from insurance Establish and maintain relationships with service providers Maintain professionalism and respect for patients Provide excellent customer service Collect data and create spreadsheets Requirements Active license/certification Active BLS/ACLS certification Phlebotomy experience (certified preferred) Experience with medical scheduling and EMR systems is a plus Customer service skills with a great bedside manner Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently Personal laptop or tablet Reliable commute to Boston, MA 02210 About VitalCheck Wellness VitalCheck Wellness is a growing healthcare company providing on-site and virtual healthcare services, aiming to transform traditional healthcare delivery by bringing medical checks directly to workplaces and virtually, ensuring preventive care without disrupting work schedules. #J-18808-Ljbffr
