The Good Samaritan Society - Canistota is a 55-bed facility providing rehabilitation and senior living, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Sioux Falls. Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process to provide personalized nursing care to residents. You will work closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Your role includes: Performing assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations within the full scope of nursing. Caring for residents through preventative care and health maintenance. Coordinating care, assessing residents, and educating them on their health. Possibly serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to other personnel. Qualifications A graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing being ideal. Must hold an unencumbered RN license within the relevant State Board of Nursing or possess multistate licensure if applicable. Must maintain required competencies and certifications specific to the department.
