$32.00 - $48.00 Department Benefits: Support across multiple locations within 150 miles of your home Mileage reimbursement offered Earn an additional $5 per hour as a float nurse Receive an extra $1.25 per hour for weekend shifts Get an added $1.25 per hour for evening/night shifts; 6:00pm - 6:00am Must work a minimum of 30 hours per month At least one weekend rotation required each month 3 months of prior Long Term Care experience required, 6 months preferred No long-term contract necessary Position Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel RN. This unique role allows you to offer your nursing expertise across various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius, enjoying competitive compensation, flexibility, and the absence of a long-term commitment. You will provide exceptional care in preventative health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment while coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, and facilitating education. As a Travel RN, you may serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable care. You will operate within the scopes and standards set by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules, adhering to nursing ethics and standards of practice as established by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications: A graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is a plus. Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice, or have multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Ongoing maintenance of department-specific competencies and certifications is required.
