Catawba Island Club and Catawba Island Marina are looking to add motivated people to our Marina team for the summer of 2025. We are looking for a Marina Forklift Operator. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Marina Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of our marina, involving the handling of boats, equipment, and materials using forklifts and other marina equipment. Our marina team is responsible for providing courteous and professional customer service to our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other marina equipment to launch, retrieve, and transport boats.
- Assist with boat storage and retrieval, ensuring boats are handled with care and according to marina procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Provide excellent customer service to our boating community.
- Assist with general marina operations as needed, including fueling boats and equipment.
- Work weekends and holidays as required.
