Job Description Job Description Join Our Team at Lakeshore Academy of Gymnastics! Position: Head Boys' Team Coach Location: 937 W. Chestnut St. Chicago (River West), IL 60642 Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience Lakeshore Academy has been the leading gymnastics school in the Chicago Area since the early 1980's. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate USAG-certified Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. Responsibilities: Coach competitive USAG levels (compulsory and/or optional, based on experience) Plan and implement safe, progressive training sessions Prepare athletes for competitions, ensuring readiness and compliance with USAG standards Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented gym culture Assist in team travel, meet scheduling, and ongoing athlete development Qualifications: USAG membership and current certification (or willingness to obtain) Prior coaching experience in competitive gymnastics (Level 3-10 preferred) Strong spotting skills and technical knowledge Fun with a big personality Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Passion for working with young athletes and helping them grow Bonus Qualifications (not required but a plus): Background in choreography or dance Experience in recreational or developmental gymnastics programs CPR/First Aid certification Why Join Lakeshore Academy?
