Summary
As a Home Care Nurse at BrightStar Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes. This position is essential in ensuring our clients receive the support they need to thrive while maintaining their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform care as outlined in the patients care plan. Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions regularly. Possible trach / vent / gtube care for our pediatric clients. Educate clients and families on health management and wellness practices. Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Assist with durable medical equipment (DME) setup and usage as needed.
Requirements Current LPN license in the state of Ohio. Experience in home health or similar nursing roles preferred. Trach / vent experience perferred, but will train. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.
