Care Advantage Inc is seeking a Director of Community Relations to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services . This position will require regular travel within our northern region and support our team in Annandale, Fairfax, Winchester, Manassas, Warrenton VA areas as well as the surrounding areas . Position Overview: Job Summary The Director of Community Relations is a member of the Care Advantage leadership team under the direction and supervision of the Regional Vice President of Operations. The DCR performs various professional duties to include the coordination of community events and acting as a liaison between the community and Care Advantage by assisting community members with service coordination. In addition, the DCR is responsible for being a resource to the community, as well as organizing events and coordinating distribution of leads that result from events. Essential Job Responsibilities: Develop new referral sources by planning and organizing schedule to call on potential referral outlets and other sources of prospective clients. Assists the agency's Medicaid Services Coordinators in processing and on-boarding new clients. Keeps management informed by updating CRM systems, submitting sales activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Develops "out of the box" sales strategies/models and evaluates their effectiveness. Collaborates closely with Recruiting and Human Resources to ensure Family Caregiver candidates complete onboarding process. Requirements: Associates degree or higher in Social Work, or an associated field; or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of two years' experience working with direct client/patient support and communications with a proven track record of customer service excellence. Experience working with the Medicaid application process. Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional team or independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
