Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Controller or CFO

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, manage accounting staff, and support senior leadership with strategic financial insights. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting team, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
• Coordinate and lead external audits
• Implement and monitor internal controls
• Improve processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide financial initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
