Job Title:
IT Strategist Project Management (Hybrid) Primary Skills:
Project Management, PMI's, PMBOK, risk management, support for complex technology initiatives, providing IV&V or equivalent QA services, public sector experience, report & briefing preparation. Location:
Lansing, MI (111 S. Capitol Ave., Lansing, MI 48933) Start Date:
06/02/2025 Work Arrangement:
On-site in Lansing, MI, 2 days a week; NO remote-only option. Candidates must be local to Michigan. Duration:
One year with potential extension. Interview Process:
Virtual MS Teams interview, with second-round in-person interviews at Lansing, MI office. Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of IT project management experience supporting large, complex initiatives. At least 5+ years providing IV&V or similar quality assurance services. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certifications such as CSM or CQA are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in a collaborative environment. Experience supporting high-visibility, politically sensitive projects in public or regulated sectors. Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI’s PMBOK), risk management, and quality assurance principles. Ability to produce professional reports and executive briefings. Proven ability to assess project health objectively and recommend solutions. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
