Position Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met. Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray. Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results. Job Requirements

Travel - Required Dress Code: Olive Scrubs McLaren Lapeer Region is a 222-bed acute care hospital located in Lapeer, Michigan, and is the primary provider of health care services to Lapeer County and the surrounding area. McLaren Lapeer Region has received national recognition from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid for clinical excellence in orthopedics, pneumonia, congestive heart failure and surgical care. The facility maintains a verified Level II trauma designation and provides comprehensive care in a 29-bed Emergency Center along with specialized services for heart, cancer, orthopedic and general surgery services, physical medicine and rehabilitation, women’s services, wound care services and sleep disorders.
