Senior Associate - US Recruitment @ Pride Health
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Leesburg, FL 34748. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity. It offers a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Position Details
- Location: Leesburg, FL 34748
- Duration: 4 Months+
- Pay rate: $17.75 - $18.70/hr
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with rotational weekends. 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, decontaminate equipment, and update patient information.
- Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
- Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously.
- Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
- Understand physicians' orders, match requisition forms, and process specimens accordingly.
- Verify test requisitions against labels to ensure accuracy.
- Package specimens for transport and store them at appropriate temperatures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
