Sustainment Execution Lead
you’re responsible for Specialty Engineering and Life Cycle Sustainment functional work scope including planning and executing sustainment strategy of the fielded systems. You’ll work closely with Life Cycle Engineering Team, the Product Line, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Project / Program Management teams to apply disciplined engineering and program management processes to establish and monitor metrics and ensure excellence in execution. Additional responsibilities may include: Resolving cost, scope and schedule issues and driving performance to cost and schedule targets. Leveraging best practices, process optimization, state of the art tools and techniques and people skills in order to establish key process and product metrics and drive continuous improvement. Supporting proposal negotiations, executing program start-up, creating program artifacts and developing the performance baseline. Conducting analyses of financial performance and assessments of the impact of obsolescence on execution. Domestic & International travel may be required (approximately 10% domestic and 5% international) This position is designated as ONSITE and is based at Raytheon’s Andover, MA facility. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically Requires: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a military or civilian environment. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. Experience managing project or program cost, schedule and risk. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Excellent communication skills and proven leadership experience managing a large team while executing logistics, depot and sustainment activities. Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple, competing priorities. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IPDS, EVMS, IMS and Risk & Opportunity Management, program planning, budgeting and tracking to cost and schedule. Experience with US ARMY Patriot products, other radar/sensor systems or advanced electronic systems. Capture management / new business development experience. Integrated Product Team, Cross Product Team, Program Management or Subcontract Management experience. Experience managing international programs including solid knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and RTX Export and Import processes and procedures.
