UVM Health Network Home Health & Hospice: Make a Difference at the McClure Miller Respite House!Do you want to make a profound difference in people’s lives and provide compassionate care that makes a real impact?We‘re seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our growing team at the McClure Miller Respite House. You‘ll play a vital role in supporting terminally ill patients and their families during a difficult time, building meaningful relationships and seeing someone through their entire care journey.The McClure Miller Respite House is a unique model in health care and Vermont’s only Medicare-certified inpatient hospice residence. Opened in 2016, the beautiful and peaceful 21-room house offers the feeling of home with a large living room, open kitchen, and spacious resident rooms. The latest technology and essential medical and supportive equipment are integrated within the design and invisible to residents and visitors creating a warm and comfortable environment.What you‘ll do:Provide hands-on care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.Build trusting relationships based on empathy, understanding, and respect for each patient‘s unique needs and preferences.Educate and support families, offering guidance and comfort.Work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care.We offer:The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.$5,000 Sign On Bonus for full time, external candidates.
