A Consumer Products firm located in Middlesex County, New Jersey has an excellent opportunity for a Finance Director with responsibilities as follows: Lead the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in alignment with strategic goals. Oversee accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management. Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership to support business decision-making. Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and improve financial outcomes. Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders. Direct and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third parties during audits and financial reviews. Drive the evaluation and implementation of financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency. Support corporate development initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Identify and mitigate financial risks through analysis, scenario modeling, and contingency planning. Qualified candidates will possess: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or MBA a plus Solid knowledge of accounting principles Experience with a large ERP system The total compensation range is from $165,000 to $175,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
