PrideStaff is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious
Forklift Operator / Inventory Associate
to join a plastics manufacturing warehouse team located in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts and will take responsibility for maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate order fulfillment, and proper inventory control.
Location: Mooresville, NC 28115
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm *some overtime may be required
Pay Rate: $17-$18/hr. *based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software to track product movement and inventory levels.
Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
Coordinate with shipping/receiving and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Follow all company safety procedures and protocols. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Previous warehouse experience, with a strong understanding of inventory processes.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
