Road & Rail Services is hiring full-time Material Handlers to support our long-standing operations in Mulberry, FL. Since 2007, we've proudly partnered with this site to provide safe and efficient railcar loading services, and we're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our growing team.
As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for loading fertilizer into railcars using an overhead delivery system. This is a hands-on, outdoor role that plays an essential part in the supply chain. You'll receive paid training, including Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) certification, fall protection, and shuttle wagon operation. While industrial experience is a plus, we're most interested in applicants who have outdoor work experience and a solid, reliable work history.
This is a full-time, permanent position with great benefits and a unique rotating schedule. The 2-Step Swing Shift means you'll work:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday You will rotate from day shift to night shift every six weeks, offering a predictable and consistent schedule for work-life balance.
This job requires physical stamina, comfort with heights, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We're seeking candidates who are serious about safety, willing to learn, and ready to build a career in industrial rail operations.
