Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher
Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh, NC (North Hills) is hiring a full-time Dispatch Officer/Dispatcher for two shifts: two days on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and two days on 3rd shift (11pm-7am). A Day in the Life of a Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher
As a Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher, you serve as the first point of contact for our community, coordinating resources, updating databases, and ensuring accurate information flow. You communicate with response units via phone, email, or radio, provide detailed job information, and occasionally initiate emergency plans. Your attention to detail and calmness under pressure ensure safety and satisfaction.
You keep accurate records of calls, maintain logs, and produce detailed reports. Your interpersonal skills help ensure the safety and satisfaction of everyone involved.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications, data entry, or dispatch
- Experience with the public, security, or law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Strong listening, communication, professionalism, and confidence in fast-paced settings
