Position Objective:
The recruiting retention specialist is instrumental in helping the business find and recruit top-notch candidates to streamline and strategize the hiring process both internal and external, as well as retain talent. Some key responsibilities include: determining the selection criteria at every phase of recruitment, sourcing candidates, screening applications and resumes, providing recommendations to hiring managers, and monitoring the candidate experience.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Customer satisfaction, OTD, and profit
- Remain current on labor market salaries & benefits
- Analyze exit data & recommend actions to address trends
- Responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates
- Recruits potential employees via various sources, including recruiting websites and employee referrals
- Checks candidates' work history, competency, and other qualifications
- Conducts orientation for new employees
- Assists in developing interview questions with hiring manager
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
Experience/Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or human resources
- Strong client focus with business acumen and results orientation
- Proven ability to identify key issues and develop creative solutions
- Must be a sole US Citizen at the North Mankato, MN facility
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management (or related field)
