We're looking for Certified Home Health Aides in various locations in Orangeburg County, South Carolina (See Below) to be at the heart of our client's care. As a certified home health aide with A Village Home Care Agency, you'll need to be a Certified Home Health Aide in the state of SC, and provide exceptional care that our clients rely on to stay safe at home. Duties:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care is preferred.
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- You NEED to be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of SC
- You need to own reliable transportation
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours/week and every other weekend
- Eligible to work in the United states
- Fluent in English (able to speak and understand)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
