Raytek Federal Corporation is seeking a Project Control Specialist with heavy scheduling experience to support our Department of Energy Client in Oak Ridge, TN. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of Project Controls Experience, preferably for research based projects within DoD or DOE
***This position is on site at Oak Ridge National Lab in Oak Ridge TN, Proof of US citizenship is required***
Responsibilities
- Work with project managers to establish budgets and schedules for projects
- Track monthly progress, including updating Primavera schedule, generation of cost/schedule reports and charts, variance analysis reports, ad-hoc reporting as required
- Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to ensure teams are informed about project milestones, spending, and upcoming schedule issues and impacts
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- BS/BA degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience successfully performing project controls duties as noted above for research-based project(s) within the DOE or Department of Defense (DOD) or relevant industrial experience
- Solid understanding of project controls best practices regarding scope, time, cost, change and risk management
- Significant experience with Primavera
- Must be willing to relocate to Oak Ridge, TN if not a local candidate
- Clearance not required, however a background check is required that will confirm you are a US citizen, no criminal history and a drug test
